Membership Types
AAID has three types of membership:
available to anyone interested in implant dentistry, both foreign and domestic. Our general members are general dentists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, periodontists, prosthodontists, orthodontists, endodontists, technicians, and others interested in the field of implant dentistry
open to students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate dental program.
The AAID has two categories of membership for licensed dentists who have met the experiential and education requirements and passed the examination for the respective category.
- Fellows have met the educational, experiential, and professional and leadership credentials requirments specified in Requirements for Fellow Membership and have passed the examination for this membership category.
