AAID Foundation
The future of implant dentistry will be built upon the commitments we make today
About the AAID Foundation
The AAID Foundation (AAIDF) was founded in 1982 with a mission to further the science of oral implantology through research and education, and to support the delivery of implant care through charitable efforts. The AAIDF is a 501(c)(3) public charity that awards grants to dental students and those in post-graduate and residency programs.
How Your Donation Makes a Difference
- In the past five years, the Foundation has provided students and researchers with more than $750,000 in grants.
- The Smile, Veteran!™ program assists military veterans and families in accessing and receiving dental implant services.
This work would not be possible without the incredible support of AAID membership and our corporate partners. Every contribution that is made has an impact on the future of communities where patients live, work, learn, and play. When you donate to the AAID Foundation, you are supporting community-based programs that impact those in need.

Bequest and Retirement Plan Donations
Gifts made through a donor’s will or trust are encouraged by the AAIDF. Attempts are made, whenever possible, to identify bequest expectancies in order to allow the AAIDF to recognize the donor for the gift during their lifetime.
The AAIDF will accept funds it receives as the beneficiary of a retirement plan (IRA, 401(k) or 403(b). The AAIDF will encourage gifts that qualify as IRA Rollover Distributions when this giving vehicle is made possible by current legislation.
