Credentialing Study Guide
Study Guide
In preparation for a credentialing examination, the Admissions and Credentials (A&C) Board recommends that candidates study scientific literature and textbooks in the field of implant dentistry. The A&C Board does not publish a recommended reading list since it would be continually subject to additions and deletions as literature in the implant dentistry field changes.
This Study Guide has been prepared to help applicants for both Associate Fellowship and Fellowship to prepare for their examinations.
The Associate Fellow section includes:
- Outline for the Part 1 examination: categories of the exam, percentage of items assigned to each category, and topics within the categories.
- Keywords for the examination: topics and terms that will be tested on the examination.
- Format information about both Part 1 and Part 2
The Fellow section includes:
- Keywords for the examination: topics and terms that will be tested on the examination.
- Format information
Eligibility Extension Form
Sometimes life happens...and you aren't able to complete the Part 2 (oral/case) examination within the four-year eligibility period.
Those who are unable to complete both parts of the examination within the four-year eligibility period may apply for a one-year extension of their eligibility. The reason for the request must be explained on the request form.
