Tarek Assi

Dr. Assi earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida where he also finished a post- graduate residency enhancing his skills in Surgery and Prosthodontics.
Dr. Assi’s commitment to education and his passion for Implant Dentistry led him to pursue additional training in dental implantology at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute where he graduated as a Fellow with a dual certification in Implant Surgery and Implant Prosthodontics.
Dr. Assi holds a Diplomate status with the American Board of Oral Implantology, a Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and a Diplomate status with the International Dental Implant Association.
Dr. Assi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Also, he received Fellowship and Mastership Implant Certifications with DentalXP where he is currently listed as an Expert.
Dr. Assi has given lectures nationwide and internationally. He also, published several articles in implant dentistry. Being inspired by Dr. Carl Misch he established a local study club, as he believes that sharing knowledge and experiences among clinicians will benefit patients tremendously.
Dr. Assi’s passion for teaching led him to participate as a Proctor in the advanced implant surgery course at the University of Sarajevo in affiliation with DentalXP. He is also, a Faculty at the Salama Implant Training Center in Miami. Additionally, he teaches Hands on Courses in Implant Dentistry.
Currently, he practices implant dentistry at Alpha Dental Practice & Implant Center that he founded over a decade ago utilizing a Prosthetic driven approach, and applying cutting-edge technology.
Dr. Assi enjoys giving back to the community and participates in dental missions nationally and overseas.
